Here is Madison County Animal Shelter's newest urgent dogs list:

1-Bocephous- 1 year old male pit mix, very sweet, shows a little temper with other male dogs but not overtly aggressive. I think this could easily be broke with some proper training.

2-Misty- 1 year old female hound mix, super sweet with a ton of energy.

3-Ben- 1 year old cinnamon male husky mix, neutered, owner surrendered because he was too energetic.

4-Mindy- 2-3 year old female husky mix. She was brought in by her owner with her 3 week old babies because they "couldn't deal". Unfortunately, Mindy developed a serious blood infection which also infected the babies. The babies did not make it but Mindy has recovered nicely.

5-Clifford- 10 month old chocolate lab mix, 1 very large boy but sweet as he can be. Very obediant, does not realize how big he is since he really wants to be a lap dog.

6-Ranger- 1 year neutered male shepherd mix. *Plays well with others* One amazing boy, he's been with us almost 2 months. We keep hoping someone will save him soon!

7-Lightning- 2 year old female beagle, very sweet!

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute (how about 20 seconds?) to go to their site and click on the purple box 'fund food for animals' for free. This doesn't cost you a thing.
